Mission, Values & Impact
The mission of the David and Lura Lovell Foundation is to fulfill the wishes of its founders and to share their good fortune through grants to deserving groups and organizations in the communities where its trustees reside.
The Lovell Foundation will use its resources to fund programs in mental illness and integrative health and wellness, as well as programs that promote access to the arts for young people and gender parity.
The Lovell Foundation has pledged to operate by the values expressed by the founders and their family, including:
- Honesty in all relationships and in all work
- Fairness to all, without bias or prejudice
- Compassion for others
- Respect for every person and their work
- Responsibility to the communities in which the foundation operates
Since its establishment in 1994, the foundation has invested $14 million in 80 nonprofit organizations for projects supporting people and programs that empower lives, provide opportunities, improve conditions and advance community.
